In 2018, after the village was hit by flooding, the Anne de Joyeuse Cellar provided help to the winegrowers affected. Additionally, all profits from the sale of Abbaye de Saint-Hilairewere donated to the village – €8,300 in total – to help residents whose properties had been damaged. Solidarity has always been one of the cellar’s core values, and this was demonstrated once again during this episode.
