Renowned for its wines produced from a high-altitude vineyard, the Haute Vallée de l’Aude and its cretaceous soils (from the era at the end of the Jurassic period) are also home to Europe’s largest deposit of fossils from the last dinosaurs and their eggs. The red clay soils of our vines regularly reveal surprising discoveries, showing traces of the previous inhabitants of this area (65-75million years ago).
